Know When

Dear Fearfully and Wonderfully Made,

Just like any other woman I can certainly appreciate Beauty. Beautiful hair, make-up, clothes and all the things we ladies get turned on by. Beauty is Beauty and I can honestly say, that I love to look and feel good about myself inside and out. Whether one's beauty is Fearfully and Wonderfully made by God or Sculpted by the doctor recommended to you by the sister that sits on the third row. It is all good!

And, oh yes, I love my designers too. Especially Donna Karan who designs for women of all sizes and designs her clothes to hug the body just right.
And when Pastor Tom takes me to a nice dinner or out for a special evening on the town, I know how to dial it up a notch.

What's the point Pastor A?

Well, the point is, I also know when to tone it down and dial it back. There are some pieces in my wardrobe, I just won't wear to church or to minister in. They just don't work for church or for ministry. Why? They are too slinky and sexy. Men are visual creatures if you know what I mean. And then, I try to keep in mind that I want the focus on Ministry and not on Me-nistry.

All I'm saying sister is this, while we all slip up every once in awhile and find ourselves saying, what was I thinking when I wore that, know when to turn the dial up, but also know, when to dial it back. Just saying...
